The SIII Baseball Academy and its accompanying camps were established
to provide south Texas youths with a positive environment for personal
development in the area of Baseball. The programs build self-esteem by
teaching participants skills such as goal setting and attainment,
self-discipline, teamwork and proper physical conditioning. The program
focuses on communication, professional conduct, self-motivation and
awareness as well as a player’s ability to accept responsibility for
their decisions. The SIII Baseball Academy strives to be a vehicle for
those athletes who want to push themselves to the highest level of
achievement.
We want to promote and enforce a high standard of ethics in competition,
education, physical development, good sportsmanship, good citizenship
and good old family values. We instill these rules in all players/teams
who participate. We promise to continually work to provide the finest
player development facility in the area. It will, however, be a two-way
street; when you come through our doors we expect nothing but your best
efforts. We do not give up or use the word never, and we believe nothing
is impossible.
In return, we'll give you the very best that the SIII Baseball Academy
and its staff have to offer. We place a high value on sportsmanship,
integrity, respect for the game and teamwork. Baseball and athletics are
not just a game; they are a way of life; a way to commit to developing
the mental and physical skills necessary for athletes to compete and
succeed at any level.
Current programs include summer competitive teams, fall instructional
and competitive teams, winter pitching/hitting classes, and year round
instructional camps. |
